Bio
· Grew up the son of a Lutheran pastor.
· Received Christ his senior year in high school.
· Graduated from the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS!) with a business degree in 1983.
· Served as the College Pastor for four years at Grace Church in Edina, MN from 1983-1987.
· Earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1990.
· Served as the Sr. Pastor of the First Evangelical Free Church (First Free) in Onalaska, WI from 1990-2008.
· Received a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity International University in 2004 with an emphasis on discipleship and leadership development.
· Occasional instructor at the Athens College of Ministry since 2012.
· Author of numerous books and discipleship curriculum.
- Leads pastors’ conferences in Africa each year.
· Currently serves as the Founding and Sr. Pastor of Living Hope Church in Athens, GA. www.livinghopeathens.org.
· Enjoys hunting, fishing, walks with his wife, dates with his children, and about anything outdoors.
· Most importantly, has been married to Dede for over 35 years and has four children and three grandchildren.
